First Impressions Whoa

First let me start by saying I'm a huge fan of the original series. I remember wakeing up and before I had to go to elementary school I would watch the syndication episodes on TBS in the mornings. Really was thrilled when we had days off cuz that means I could see the full episodes.

Now from all the clips/trailers they've released how can they say this isn't based on Diamond's BS book Behind the bell. This movie will be told from his POV.

The actors look nothing like their real life counter parts. The kid playing Mark Paul Gosselar(Spelling?) looks like the youngest of the bunch when in reality Diamond was the very youngest. The kid playing Mario Lopez looks so scrawny compared to him when in the show he was muscular and bigger to a degree.

I should have seen this coming when they released the first cast photo and the girls are hanging on the guys. First the girl playing Kelly should have been hanging on the guy playing Mark. Berkley on Lopez. and Lark pushing away Diamond.

Now the cast has said on several occasions that Diamond's book is BS. So why would Lifetime make a movie using the book as a guide and Diamond as a Producer.

When it comes out I will see it to give a more informed opinion and go point by point but this was just my first impressions.
