Zack looked like Cory Feldman and Slater looked like Rufio from Hook
There. I said it.
shareActually 'Zack' reminded me of Michael J Fox, circa 1985.

Spot-on with Rufio! Oh-ow-owwwwlllll!!
shareI actually thought the actor portraying Mark-Paul/Zack did a good job of capturing Mark-Paul Gosselaar's mannerisms. He was pretty convincing. And the kid playing Dustin was great, too. Kelly/Tiffani and Jessie/Elizabeth were both seriously miscast. Slater was ok. Looked nothing like him but had the right attitude.

Generally agree with your assessment - especially on the guys.
I thought that the kid playing Mark Paul was the weakest in the cast, actually. He looked ridiculous, for one. He (along with everyone else) was completely wooden and he had zero charisma. The real MPG was no Laurence Olivier, but he had the charisma and charm needed to bring Zack to life. Kevin the Robot had more range than Fake Munchkin Zack.
Remember kids, dressing up like Hitler in school isn't cool!share

Rufioooooooo!
The IMDB message boards you either die a good poster,or live long enough to become the troll
Rufio! Hahahaahahahaahahaha
Good call. He certainly didn't look like Mario.
No one in this world looks like Corey Feldman, unless its something squishy and unpleasant from Lord of the Rings.

Oh my gosh that's it!! You're right! He DID look like Corey Feldman lol!
Maybe that's why I could NEVER get into the character of Zack in this TV movie. He seriously lacked Zack's/Mark-Paul's charisma, charm, and good looks on the show.
I think this guy agrees!
