For example, he may have been useless at DIY and got himself locked in there while trying to remove the spare tyre. He placed the strappings around the wrists and ankles because he was quite a nervous guy and couldn't stop shaking, but because he was so useless at DIY he made the mistake of joining the ends. He hit himself in the face with a tyre iron inadvertently while trying to extricate his mobile phone from his baggy clothing. Like I said, useless.
