Was that woman his ex lover or was just hitting on him?

When Saul goes to the woman's camp to smuggle the gun powder from the woman. The woman at the camp was getting real close to him as if it was something romantic. Were they lovers or was she just hitting on him? Just using him to feel comfort?

Just from that scene it seemed clear to me they were former lovers.

I think it was confirmed later by his senior when he told Saul that he did not have a kid, implying he knew the girl and knew she did not have a kid.
