shareThat film didn't take place during the Holocaust, it was actually many years after WWII if I remember correctly.
shareThe mystery of Anna's identity is two-fold: What happened to Anna/Ida's parents? What happened to Aunt Wanda's child? Those mysteries are resolved in the forest. The fact that it takes many years to uncover/discover the facts only makes it more of a Holocaust story, not less. All best, Jan
