the director of this film supported Xavier Dolan in cannes 2016

I didn't like son of saul, but now I want to re-watch the film to see if I can appreciate it more, just because Nemes was one of the cannes jury who supported Dolan. Now I have more faith in Nemes.

I don't see the connection between the 2 things, so I doubt you would feel differently if you re-watch the movie.
