Sonic not burning to a crisp makes no sense

I have been watching some dubious 'theory' channels a bit too much lately, so maybe I am overthinking this, but..

..in one particular video, they were calculating how many calories..

(groan, calory theory doesn't work, that's not how ANYTHING works, even the creators of that theory realized that very quickly, but the 'attractive theory' was already spreading like wildfire, so it was too late)

..Sonic would 'BURN' in his four-second run from coast to coast or something (a very long distance in any case).

The numbers were absolutely staggering, as they were in the 'hundreds of billions' bracket. This made me think about energy.

We all know that energy is measured in joules, but it seems that people still talk about calories for some reason.

In any case, we also know that energy can't be destroyed. This means, Sonic not only had to already HAVE that massive amount of energy stored in his tiny body somewhere, and then able to unleash and utilize that energy to 'burn' those 'calories' so very fast.

Now, when you 'burn' something using your body, it's basically an energy conversion - often you need some other form of energy to convert to kinetic energy to move objects and so on, and this energy has to flow in your muscles for them to work properly. Energy flowing in your muscles makes them warm, because the energy gets also converted to heat, so people talk about 'burn' and thus the term 'burning calories' was born.

However, all this energy had to go somewhere. As energy converts to heat so easily, when it's used for something useful (even in computer chips, like CPUs and GPUs, this is a known problem, which is why computers and GPUs have efficient fans to keep them cool enough to function).

How could Sonic 'burn' that many energies, utilize and unleash that much energy, for the energy to just DISAPPEAR? We know energy CAN'T disappear, it just changes forms.

This means, that energy would've been converted to HEAT and burned Sonic to crisp from within!

Not to mention the air resistance creating enormous friction that would definitely have aided in the process. Sonic shouldn't be able to just be 'cool' or 'normal temperature' after such energy explosion, he should absolutely be BURNING to crisp, the flame would be bright and much hotter than any normal flame we are usually familiar with, it should absolutely demolish and damage a vast area around Sonic as well.

Why is Sonic not just a brightly burning pile of ashes after that run? It makes no sense.
