I had to Youtube "Just Another Day of Sun" since I was drawing a complete blank. It is nice, not great for a musical though, if you can't remember the songs... (but maybe that's just a "me" problem)

Yup, that's what happened to me!
I finally watched the movie for the first time recently, and I was sadly disappointed. I wanted to like it, but I couldn't. But right after I watched it, I kept singing that City of Stars song π.
I gave the movie my own review on IMDb, basically saying it's boring and the whole musical aspect was poorly done. It's not like other musicals. I had given it 4 stars for the colorfulness. I'm sad that I didn't like it since it's such a popular movie. Can't believe it almost won best picture. The movie kind of just made me feel depressed
The movie has no great songs, and no great dancing. Set among the musicals of the 1930s through 1950s, it sounds and looks amateurish.
