Burning of the Union Jack
I know it's just a TV miniseries, and it might of actually happened during the Revolution, but I thought that it might be unnecessary to show the burning of the Union Jack. As an American I would be upset to see the Stars and Stripes being burned in that matter, and I tried to see it from the perspective of a citizen of Great Britain. In this day and age GB is an ever more important ally in the war against terror, and I don't want to see anything drive a wedge between us. We love you guys "Over There", we just don't want to be subordinate to you, so I'm still glad we won, but we don't have to rub it in 240 years later. Like GB, the USA makes a much better friend than an enemy. Maybe I am making too big of deal about this.
