Boston Benghazi

Nobody Makes Me Bleed My Own Blood!

Except the governor (ambassador) lived.

The opening scene and others that followed actually made me want to root for the British. It made the Americans look like a bunch of unruly, violent mad men with a mob mentality. Sort of reminded me of modern day scenes from the middle east and other third world countries where extremists vandalize and burn down buildings because they don't agree with one government or another. If I were the British I would be pretty ticked off at these guys too. The fact that they make Sam Adams look like some douche bag pretty boy doesn't help either.

Exactly, confirming the opinions of many loyalists and King George III himself. John Adams risked his reputation by representing the British in court, but he clearly saw the injustice and always hated mob mentality. That he was able to win them victory in a fair trial, despite the rampant anti-British climate, was brilliant in demonstrating that the colonists were indeed capable of self-government.

Exactly right. John was the adams who sought justice through the system. Sam was the radical. Sam has a much lower profile in the later years and through the convention due to the fact that his methods were no longer relevant.

There are active historical debates on the nature of the sons of liberty and whether or not they were terrorists.

They would have had a body count 10x that of Benghazi, if they had the weapons we possess today.
