UK showing
Will this be shown in the United Kingdom? I just wonder if they'd view it as a bunch of terrorists who attacked their government & sovereign.

shareI don't think UK channels like stories about the American Revolution.
Turn: Washington Spies (which might as well be the series sequel to this) has yet to come there.
If they do appear, probably some time on Amazon Prime.
Sons Of Liberty started in the UK last week. There's been 2 episodes so far, running time, including adverts is 60 minutes, so looking at the dispute over how many episodes there are of this, I'm hoping that there will be 6 shown.
It will be interesting to see how events are depicted. I must admit to not really knowing a great deal about the War of Independence, in detail at least, but I did learn a little in passing around 40 years ago at school, lol. I've enjoyed the episodes up to now.
Not looked at this yet. I bet it will be yawnsville. For my sins I studied American history as well as UK Victorian history many years ago. I think we would like to see the series if it were not done by a bunch of 21st century people rolling out their prejudices/politically correct attitudes or call it what you will but not, in fact, actually replicating what went on in 16th century north east USA. We have enough problems in the UK with TV companies looking back into WW1/2, 1930s or 1950s using modern quotations and never using the correct words or phraseology of the time. It’s horrendous. The only recent series that got anywhere near a look at history was “Woolf Hall”. That was pretty good. Even the new fictional Poldark (set in the same era SoL) was half decent.
shareNot really, taxation without representation was wrong and it was a mistake we never repeated again. Every family has its' squabbles.
