Why they picked Nick

Just wondering if they chose Nick because of the type of women he said he's attracted to - confident, outspoken, stimulating .... I'm starting to read "drama". Lots of it.

He said something about the type of woman he likes not going after him as much as he wished. Like he seems to always attract the shy quiet types. Which are nice and all, but the drama factor is flaccid.  He likes them kinky and rowdy. Or just more exciting and assertive. So a bunch of bachelorettes like that in a house together would be more dramatic TV.

They picked him because he's interesting, and is appealing to the contestants and fans. I think most of the drama is going to happen between contestants and won't involve him (like Ben)

Nick had a big fan base. They'll tune in for sure.

I think there's a quite a lot of factors into why they picked him, most of which have been mentioned by people itt. Another is that I just don't think Luke or Chase were interesting enough people to really carry a season. I think the producers actually really liked Luke, and were quite surprised at how polarizing he was to fans (not in terms of hate but in terms of alot of people just not finding him as 'great' as the show was making him out to be).

Another reason someone has mentioned is the fact that Luke is from a very small town and despite his trying to break into the music scene phrase he ultimately wants to go back to the ranch and not many of the potential women on the show would be up for that ALA Chris. Personally i'm not sure about that and whether it's even true.

Ultimately Nick is just a more interesting person to base a season around than anyone else ATM and I guess that's why they just him.
