On the after show nobody knew who rob thomas was. I too love him. I went to a matchbox 20 concert before i love his songs but when rob talks to his fans he cusses like a sailor.

Wells is supposedly a DJ or radio man and gave the impression he never heard of him. Plus he is 32 and would have been a teenager when Matchbox 20 was really popular. He could have been joking, but it didn't seem like he was.

Im younger than him, i went when i was a teenager at 17. Maybe he just said that to fit in since everybody else who is older didnt know who he was idk.

I am into music and had no idea. Matchbox 20 the group is more famous than its members.

I am someone who knows many matchbox twenty songs, but never knew the names of the members or what they look like. Heck, most bands are like that with most people. Only rare people like Adam Levine get popular as a person.

I'm not a big fan but yeah he was pretty big back in the day. It was a bit like how some East Coast people hadn't heard of Jack Johnson despite his music being played all around the world.
