Could Fleiss be promoting BIP as minor-league Bachelor

It was surprising that Fleiss chose Nick as the next Bachelor.

But could Fleiss be trying to promote BIP more as the minor-league before selecting the next Bachelor to build up a fan-base for potential bachelors?

Fleiss may be saving potential fan-favorites like Luke or Chase for BIP so that he can increase the ratings for BIP. Usually the final 3 contestants cannot go on BIP due to potential spoilers so they have to wait one year.

They want to build up ratings for BIP and also create buzz for Bachelor. The worst would be having a ratings-disaster with an unpopular no-fan-base bachelor.

No, i think they just wanted a shocker and having the lead come from BIP was this seasons's shocker. Out of the BIP guys, Nick is the only one with enough of a fanbase.
