Why I don't like Carly

That smirk on her face when lamp man didn't pass out his rose...that's a classic mean girl move.

reply

Honestly, the mean girl and the weasel deserve one another...because no one else decent is going to give either of them the time of day!

reply

Nothing worse then a mean girl who thinks she is sweet miss innocent.

reply

I didn't see a smirk. Her goofy lovey smile was still lingering from Evan's words when he gave her the rose.

I agree, she was still smiling about the rose and Evan. I also think they make a nice couple. Evan is a nice guy, he is quirky but what has he done to be hated? I'm happy for them and they seem like they really care for each other.

reply

I didn't like either of them but I like them as a couple, I think they're cute together.

Same here. More power to them.
...You're not part of The original trio Blue Man Group, are you?! Or just a groupie? 

There is a definite time difference between the two expressions. Rewatch it.

Ok, it's no secret that the producers play out the scene the way they want it. They could have stuck her smiling in after Evan gave her the rose, just so it looked like she was smiling when Brett left. They do that ALL the time. Awkward looks here and there and usually they have nothing to do with the actual moment. Just like all the moaning they stuck in, that didn't really exist. Re-watching it would prove nothing.

reply

You are correct. They do that constantly. So this is much ado about nothing. Just like they can edit things to make it look like anyway they want. The good Nick edit for instance to lead into the Bachelor announcement. Or the Caila situation as another.

reply

I didn't notice it, but she's shown her inner mean girl plenty of times ever since her first appearance in Chris's (the farmer) season. She talks badly about girls she's jealous of, and she talked badly about Evan in the beginning when he did NOTHING wrong to her. She likes to be mean to people she feels threatened by or people she views as inferior to her. And the sad thing is she pretends she's a nice girl. But I guess that's what mean girls do. I really liked her in the beginning of Chris's season, but eventually she showed her true colors.

Yeah, but who really knows what goes on in Paradise. Things are always edited to look they way the producers want.
