I read that Lauren H ran to the tabloids saying Nick and Jen were in a relationship right up until he was given the Bachelor gig.

Actually, analyzing body language on BIP, I don't think Nick is all that into Jen.

The dynamic between them has always seemed a bit off.

Everyone was like where is Nick, when Nick went to talk with Tiarra and came back with her date card.

While he was gone, Jen made the comment, Nick is a smooth talker (and I thought I heard her or someone else say he better not go on a date with her.

It almost seemed like they were together, just to be together.

It felt like all talk from both of them.

Totally agree!! Nick just wants to see how many times he goes and looks for engagement rings for 2x's The Bachelorette, 2x's The Bachelor in Paradise and now The Bachelor! I think my calculations are correct????

No only one BIP appearance. Then again, he might come back on BIP next after failing to find love on the bachelor, so you might still be right!

So why were they so upset during the final rose ceremony? If they were in a relationship without getting engaged, then why did they both react so emotionally..? I don't know if Lauren addressed that or not, but I agree with you, Nick never seemed fully invested in this relationship.

Really? Then so is Jen. Based on the footage from the rose ceremony, neither of them were amicably agreeing to still hang out after Paradise. She was acting like it was real breakup.
