The lead actor lacks charisma
One of the reasons that this film will not do super nova box office is that the lead actor lacks any form of charisma. If you are going to tell a story of such an iconic character, then at least cast an actor who can light up the screen. Tom Cruise has it, so does Brad Pitt and Leonardo Di Caprio. I am afraid that Alden Ehrenreich just does not have it.
