How is pansexual different from bisexuals?

I have heard that a pansexual does not see gender but I thought that was just a rhetorical way of saying you see men and women equally because I'm sure they can tell men from women as well as anyone else if they wanted to. So why are they taking it literally? A pansexual is a person who cannot tell if someone is male or female? Some people are hard to tell if they are men or women. I think maybe a pansexual just doesn't want to hurt their feelings if they guess wrong?

"Pansexuality may be considered a sexual orientation in its own right or a branch of bisexuality, to indicate an alternative sexual identity. Because pansexual people are open to relationships with people who do not identify as strictly men or women, and pansexuality therefore rejects the gender binary, it is often considered a more inclusive term than bisexual. To what extent the term bisexual is inclusive when compared with the term pansexual is debated within the LGBT community, especially the bisexual community".

It seems that you a saying a pansexual sleeps with people who are inbetween male and female. I don't understand why it would be assumed that bisexuals would not since they don't care about gender.

reply

I'm not saying anything, I just reported what wikipedia says about pansexuality, hence the quotation marks.

I just wanted to be of some help, that's it.

That's still a load of nonsense though. At the end of the day we're just animals. Someone's dick doesn't care if a person thinks they have no gender, "nonbinary" people still look male or female.

This is one another huge gender studies PILE OF SHIT. Sexual orientation is about physical bodies. If you're a man and you're gay, that means that pussies don't make you horny while cocks do. A gay man can find a woman interesting and fascinating, but she won't turn him on. And that's it. End of story. It's not about gender identification or psychological issues. It's pure biology and sexual instinct.

Indeed, this is incredibly regressive, since it links sexuality with some imaginary social constructs, which is more or less what used to be the standard one century ago. This is the kind of thing that is taking back real progress.

It's the hipster version of bisexual

reply

True, although I would imagine there may be bisexual people who don't go for trannies, etc.

reply

Its a PC term for bi.
