Yeah, not a good sign. Considering this news along with all the reshoot drama that happened on Rogue One, it really seems like the studio people are being overbearing jerks.

Both directors were fired by Kennedy. Kennedy didn't like their direction nor how they treated Kasdan (made the best Star Wars film, guys!) nor the casts. "Creative differences" is the explanation.

A Star Wars film still needs to feel like one. If something was off, than I'll respect Kennedy's opinion. I wonder who the replacement will be.

UPDATE: Ron Howard, Lawrence Kasdan and Joe Johnston in the running. Yipee!
