I know it's basically a horror movie but..

I'm so sick of watching horror movies where the characters behave incredibly unrealistically. Of course there is a certain suspension of disbelief when you are watching any genre films. Whether that is science fiction, horror or kung fu.
But you can't just defy the law of gravity because it is inconvenient.
Characters that are in the middle of a zombie virus outbreak zone decide they should 'split up to cover more territory'.
Heck no! I'd be telling them to cover the left hand of the hall, I'll cover the right side and bubba here can cover the rear.
I do not want to give away any spoilers. It is an okay film. Better than some of the recent horror-thrillers I have seen (cough cough 'Camino').
But I must insist that horror works better when the behavior of the characters follows natural patterns of behavior, not convenient plot points.

With all the careful steps taken prior, I was not expecting such a foolish decision by the team.

Indeed, and GITS is the best anime ever!
Too bad it is so hard to find the T-shirts these days.

This movie was obviously made with VR in mind, where the FP view should be really immersive and shine through. I'd say with the advent of the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive etc. the first of many FP Movies to come. This is just the beginning.

VR? I disagree... 3 inches, 3 feet, 30 feet is still the same unless it was made as a 360° movie. Then it would be awesome.

I also thought that 5 minute doom sequence was terrific as it was done right. This... not so much.

My belief is the producers though "Hardcore Henry" was going to be a bigger hit then it was and wanted to cash in while the iron was hot.

I'm sick of people who watch movies and insist every character must do exactly what they think they would in a similar situation otherwise the characters are behaving dumb and unrealistically, even though said person has never been in a situation even close to what the characters are going through, thus making it impossible for them to know how they would act, while also overlooking the fact that not everyone thinks in the exact same way as them.
