"28 Days Later" virus?

Same virus as in "Pandemic"?

reply

Looks to be that way except, the point of view looks like part of the found footage genre.

Beating Hardcore Henry to the First Person POV punch by a week. Of course, this is only a limited/direct to VOD release whereas that is a wide theatrical release.

Actually, not quite. The "Pandemic" virus has 5 stages, and can be treated in the earliest stage. The "28 Days Later" virus turns you instantly, and cannot be treated.

Either way, they both suck.

Yep, and 'I am Legend,' 'World War Z,' 'Resident Evil,' etc. TOO many to list!

... for one reason, because in "28 Day Later", people became crazed zombies a few seconds after getting even a single drop of infected blood in their eye, while in "Pandemic", they take days, may be avoided even when people are splattered in infected blood, and it's hinted, may be curable.

This difference makes a lot of difference in the stories. For example, in the "28 Days Later" world, there were terrible catastrophes where a single zombie turned a tightly packed crowd of thousands into zombies in a few minutes. This kind of thing can't happen with the slow-to-take infection in "Pandemic" world.
