The fault with the film wasn't Dane's..

..he's actually a more than capable actor (watch Mr. Brooks Dane was excellent!) the fault with 400 days id in it's Directing and Script. The concept is interesting but allot of the dialogue is amateurish and the execution of scenes is poorly done. The young scientist KNOCKED OUT Dane with a milk crate, next scene Dane is rubbin his head and seemingly "ok" with just occured. Huh? Re: Directing..re-watch the scene in first Alien film when Dallas, Lambert & Kane exit the Nostromo to investigate the Alien ship...then watch the actors in 400 Days exit their hatch. Nuff said. Dane's a good actor but just needs a better agent or someone to choose his projects for him.
