Do the men have large penises (serious question)?

I've never watched Blue/Warmest or Nymphomaniac or any of these crossover adult films. But I am curious about one thing. We all know mainstream movies have extremely good looking people in them, easy on the eyes, that's what makes a movie star a movie star. That, plus magazine covers, for example, have been setting impossible standards for what we're supposed to look like in real life.

So is the same thing happening with genitalia? Do men in these movies have big ol' wangs, and women with perfect labia?

I'd say your suspicion is correct--when relatively mainstream (i.e. non-porn) movies like this show male actors full-frontal, they usually tend to be visibly well-endowed. Is that a matter of the directors' choice, or the fact that the actors confident enough to bare themselves that way tend to be "bigger"? Probably both. (Other examples that comes to mind are Michael Fassbener in "Shame" and Ewan McGregor in "Young Adam.") This doesn't apply to comedy movies by the way, where part of the joke (as in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and a bunch of other Judd Apatow-type movies) seems to be the underwhelming dimensions of the naked male character "at ease."

No, that actor had a 7 inch penis. That's average- but on the other end of the spectrum- of 5 to 7 inches.

For instance- in America the average penis size is 5.2 inches.

Yes it's shown erect multiple times, from a multitude of different angles lol.

No CGI or prosthetics were used except for a couple ejaculation scenes. Gaspar thought it would be neat to have semen flying at you in 3D so he "exaggerated" the spunk projectile a little bit.

usually there is a a prosthetic in use.. like in boogie nights.. or cgi face of actor on a porn stars body like in nymphomaniac.. although some actors been known to send in real sex tapes to get role..

How big or small a penis is tends to be rather subjective. Normally how it goes is men will list the statistics of what the average size is and how the actor meets that stat, while women with small vaginas say the penis is big. Likewise women with big vaginas think the average penis is really small.

I don't know what a perfect labia looks like.

The average size of a man's erect penis is 6". Karl Glusman's appears to be 6.5". But keep in mind that erections vary from less than an inch to full size. On set most male actors are embarrassed what with all the lights and cameras and staff and unable to maintain and erection. At the same time they don't want to appear child size, so out come prosthesis (fake penises) in all manner of shapes sizes and erections.
