The story went nowhere

There was sex and nothing else. I've seen lots of surreal and eccentric movies as all sorts of movies mean art to me, but this one was tasteless with no substance at all. I also realize that just because I didn't like it, doesn't mean no one will.

Its a shame because he's actually a really good director.

You think so? I think it explored pretty much every aspect of Love. It also explored the key theme of LUST Vs Love. We become smitten with what we don't have, even though everything we want is right in front of us. The passion, the feelings of love, hate and how fine of a line it is... And yes, it explored sex, which is at the core of it all. I don't feel bad for him, as many people seem to think we're supposed to, I just feel for the entire situation. It brings out the rawness of our nature.

If you think this was about nothing but sex scenes, you may have never felt or been through anything similar to the protagonist. His feelings and thoughts were on point. It was very relatable. At least to me.

And the movie looked beautiful. The sex scenes changed as the relationships went on so you can't say they were just there for the sake of being there. The sex and the music was calm and beautiful at the beginning of their relationship and got angry and more aggressive after they cheated on each other and started fighting, etc. Stuff like that really worked for me.
