If you’re involved in an MLM or legal “pyramid scheme”

.. And have lost more than you have invested.. This is a major eye opener. This movie primarily focuses on the Latino community being scammed into their live savings (to the tune of about $8,000-$20,000+) TO the average American, that is a lot of money to lose. Additional loses include; your careers stability, as most people that join MLMs will give up their “9 to 5 desk job” along with PTO and benefits such as health insurance, yearly bonuses, a guaranteed paycheck etc. to pursue the “dream” that is sold with these companies. Others will find themselves so deep and so lost in the MLM world that they will pressure and use the same predatory sales pitches to get their family and friends to join their “downline” - which can completely cut off their links to the outside world when people get sick of always being sold to.

At the end of the day, you may think you are soooo deep in this and that you have to “fake it to make it” on social media and IRL (in real life) but the truth is there is a way out and a huge support system if you need it. Please do not let your fear of embarrassment or failure stop you from getting out.

As the lawyer asks a question in this doc “Have you ever played the lottery?” ... Well with Herbalife [and all pyramid schemes] “You bought a lottery ticket for a lottery that is already over”

I take that to mean; maybe there was a chance to make money off of this company, and any other MLM/pyramid scheme, but only the top 1,000 or so distributors out of hundreds of thousands are making a few million dollars a year. The other 98% are actually breaking even or losing thousands a year. Including the 90 something % that are bringing in $1,000 or less / year before looking at their outgoingings.

Google has a ton of information. And if you need the support please don’t hesitate to ask me or anyone else. We fight the good fight and help people get themselves or close family members out. If you would like your story or a close family/friends to be heard, or need any advice pls let me know

That's how almost all these multi-level-marketing companies make their money, they require their reps to spend more money on buying into the "job" than they could possibly earn.

For instance Mary Kay Cosmetics is big on this, almost all of their reps end up buying more product than they can sell and lose big buckets of money. Don't believe that bullshit involving pink cars, it's all a scam, and the real suckers aren't the people who buy the product, it's the ones who try to sell.
