Unbelievably bad

To be clear, I don't hate Nic Cage. I mean, yes, he has a bad habit of overacting for sure. But he's a cool dude. I've really enjoyed some of his performances. And I think it's a shame of what's come of his career. He could do better.

But this film...wow. Just wow. I can't believe how bad it is. Horrendous acting, especially coming from Cage himself. His performance just got increasingly worse throughout the film.

The plot was pretty ridiculous. And plus the background for Cage's motives throughout the film was left so vague and unclear that is was just confusing. And the plot was so ridiculous that trying to understand these things didn't even matter.

The score was incredibly cheesy. Awful song choices. The subplot with the prostitute was as dry as cardboard. There are way too many things I could point out. But damn...this film was a new low for Cage. The only upside was that I laughed my ass off watching this cause of how bad it was. That final scene between Cage and Bratt was so bad. I mean...whoa. it's hard to believe that this movie was even made.
