Why couldn't the Empire find the rebel base..

..by tracking where the captured rebel ships at the end of Rogue One had come from? It's pretty far fetched that they would not be able to find a log somewhere on those ships or at the very least got some intelligence from the hundreds of rebel prisoners. And it would be hard to believe that all of them could resist interrogation.
