Now that Madison is back
It would be fitting to bring Tobias back. He was a great character and reflected the point of view of the audience. He was already prepared to evolve for the apocalypse.

Maybe Travis fell out of the chopper and into open roof of an abandoned mattress store, where there happened to be a trauma surgeon holed up.
Boom, he's alive again!
