what happened to the troubled Mantosh (the other brother in Australia)? He isn't mentioned in the final text at all.

Thanks is given to the whole family in the end credits, including the brother. He is also in the family photos.

I wonder about his fate also. Whatever it is, he has two parents who love him through his own inner struggle. When you think 80,000 kids go missing each year in India, many of them have troubled pasts, whether in family of origin or from living on the streets. Who knows what troubled his poor soul. He carries it but at least his parents in Australia can help him with their constant love.
