Why didn't Rooney Mara's character come with Saroo to India? I think it would have been great for her character to see Saroo's home and meet his real mother. I think it would have been a great moment.

sharePerhaps it is because in real life, she never came... He told her to wait for him... She was in school... Her Mom had died... She was almost entirely on her own... There could of been so many reasons... But, I never read the book... I assume, they wanted to do it based on true story.
