started out pretty good, captured my interest, and there were some genuine scares.

but then the police acted unrealistically when his kid went missing, and there was bad acting from the "celtic high priestess" or whatever, and then it just got plain stupid.

strong start, weak finish.

i can't believe they set this crap up for a sequel! and knowing nick cage, he'll be all for it...

I groaned when the police officer suggested to a panicked parent that if they live close by, maybe (your 7 year old) just walked home. I'm glad that bothered someone else, too.

this is up for a sequel? shocking. it started off okay and wasn't terrible but i still don't know what pay the ghost means. it wasn't really explained.
