I like it, except for the serial killer...
I like it, except for the serial killer. Does every damn show on TV have to have a serial killer? Next there will be FBI agents tracking them, because 90% of TV is FBI agents chasing serial killers.

shareIt looks like you don't know what a serial killer is...
Angel and Soldier are not serial killers. They are criminals.
Pretty much like Seth and Richard Gecko from "From Dusk Till Dawn".
They killed the policeman because he was bothering them, and the woman because they needed a shelter.
As far as we know, they are psychopaths criminals on the run, with a mission (finding Paco) without any fear to kill. Just that. Which is far more original than the common "serial killer".

And this makes them not serial killers HOW?Well, serial killers have a "cooling off" period between their murders.
They weren't serial killers in the book. Angel was a very strong athletic female but nothing like she's presented in the series.
Was it a millionaire who said "Imagine no possessions"?
I like it, except for the random spree killers. Does every damn show on TV have to have a random spree killer? Next there will be FBI agents tracking them, because 90% of TV is FBI agents chasing random spree killer.
shareLuckily for everyone this is not the case.
This is a closed book, like every Hap&Leo adventures, a criminal story which will end.
It will not become your usual FBI show.
Watch the latest episode and tell you still didn't like the drug dealer. Him and his lover are the two best characters in the show. The latest episode was insanely fun. I found myself cheering during the "incident". He is exactly what the show needs in order for it to stand out. Also calling him a serial killer and treating him like some mainstream *beep* serial killer character shows how incompetent you are. It's time to stop.
shareCompletely disagree here. This character is a major departure from the one in the book, and ain't got no shred of Texas or credibility for that matter in him. The girl character is so freaking outlandish as if she was taken from a crappy syfy show and thrown in here with no regard to the overall vibe. That's gotta be the most pathetic pair of villains ever, almost to the point of ruining it for me....
shareI'm not sure what happened in the books but the weakest part of this season was the two villains. They felt comically over-the-top to me.
Other than that, I really enjoyed this series and I hope we see further adventures.
I loved it, and the serial killer as well. He and his girlfriend were so weird and outta place. And yet fit perfectly.
shareThe guy 'Soldier' he's just acting waaaay too much. So unconvincing.
It damaged pretty good story and I feel betrayed. But still, I'm waiting to see what brings the next season. Hopefully, without him it would be much better.
