Eve Theory............

Interesting. I had thought that Selene will become an extra-special hybrid. That these white wraiths would turn out to be a third race, not vampires or lykans as we've seen, but perhaps a line from a daughter of Corvinus, and that they hid up in the mountains someplace away from the wreckage that their vampiric, lykanthropic, and mortal siblings had going on. And that Selene figures out the only way to beat the new baddie on the block, is to become more like these wraith-like people from the trailer. Be interesting if we find out she's had Eve hiding with them for a while now, and that she actually first shows up to scoop Eve up for Eve's safety, but then somehow figures out she needs to become the extra special, super-duper Hybrid.
