maybe I blanked out or something but...towards the end of the movie Semira drinks from a goblet of blood and her body reacts to it. then later when she gets killed she thinks she is immune to sun light. Whose blood did she drink? Selene's? When did she get it?
shareIt's Selene's blood. During the cage fight, Selene gets poisoned which paralyzes her. That's when she's captured by Semira and Varga, taken to Semira's quarters where she gets hooked up to a bloodletting device.
David and his father later sneak into Semira's quarters and free Selene. That's when Thomas dies. David leaves with Selene and feeds her his blood, saying she has lost a lot of it.
Later on, there's a whole discussion between Semira and Varga about the blood needing to be filtered because of the poison. That's why it takes so long before Semira can drink the blood.
