Released In Australia DECEMBER 1st!!

it comes out in the US and UK in January!

I saw an ad on TV and it said December 1st, was shocked to find this out.

anyone know why this is?

not complaining, just find it odd.

yeah, it's weird. this movie and the upcoming RES EVIL:THE FINAL CHAPTER are both Sony/Screengems films and BLOOD WARS opens in Australia way before everywhere else and the RES EVIL movie opens in Japan (i believe) way before everywhere else. i wonder why each Sony film is opening in only 1 location way before any other areas. maybe for critics screenings or something?

Blood Wars is opening up December 1 in many European countries, including The Netherlands.

Far from normal actually. Usually Europe gets a film a week before the U.S., but with Blood Wars it's going to be almost 5 weeks ahead of them.

That's not unusual. 4 weeks earlier is becoming more and more common.

Since when? My friend in The Netherlands usually gets film a week before I do. Many countries follow this way, not all but many.

Are you absolutely sure? I just checked and the German speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) all get it December 1st or 2nd as well. Seems weird France would be that late. As someone mentioned above even the Netherlands get it early.

Australia gets Marvel movies a week before America so we are used to that but I wouldn't call the Underworld movies as popular as superhero movies to get a month early release.

just found out we get another movie before the US and UK...

The Founder comes out November 24th! while US gets it in January and UK in February.

I like this new trend, keep em coming!
