What were you smoking? The edits were actually fine and perfectly timed. Most of the "fast edits" you're referring to were flashback sequences cramping lots of memories into a few seconds time to help tell the story so far. The action of course had fast cuts as well as most action movie do but not fast enough it was all a blur.
shareThe movie had the same pace and editing as the other Underworld movies. Unlike other action movies Underworld cuts out all of the fat and keeps all the important stuff. It just seems fast because every scene is always giving you information. I actually thought Blood Wars was 2 hours with how much stuff they packed in.
I remember when I saw the original and I couldn't follow the plot at all. There was just too much backstory along with the actual plot to absorb, which couldn't be done during a first viewing.
