Selene becoming a elder and getting put to sleep, I only say that because I don't think their will be another underworld film and if they try and do a spin off with David I don't think it will make money.

One mistake they made is that they killed off Semira when she should have got away. They developed Semira's character throughout the movie and set her up to be a major adversary to Selene in sequels, but blew it by copping out with a cheap revenge kill for David. It would have be great to see Semira become the leader of a rival clan of vampires that are immune to the sun. share
Her death was very lack luster I would be surprised if he DIDNT bring her back, if Anna Forester directs again I can almost guarantee Semira's return.
shareSemira is not necessarily dead. Viktor was also stabbed through the head in Rise of the Lycans and survived. Semira is more powerful than Viktor now that she drank Selene's blood, so her surviving the stabbing off-screen is absolutely possible.
