Selene kills two vampire elders in Markus (Evolution) and Viktor (Original). I hear a mention of twice of her killing only one (namely) Viktor. Is this a plothole or word around the Covenant is that they just know Viktor was just killed by Selene?
shareNo plot-hole. Selene's quote in the opening voice-over is "we destroyed the elders" as it shows her killing Markus and Michael killing William. Before that, they showed Viktor and she spoke specifically about him, because Viktor was far more important to Selene's story arc.
The reason the new vampire characters mostly complain about her killing Viktor is because they hated Markus, who went on a killing spree destroying vampire covens willy-nilly in Evolution after he hybridized himself with Lycan blood. If anything, they were probably silently thanking Selene for it.
GoodRed, i agree w/ you 100%. Viktor was the coven's true leader. even Alexander in EVOLUTION says that the vamps/the coven was never really Markus's.
