I watched the first one when it came out at the movies (twice) and then watched part2 once at the movies but fell asleep. Never saw any of the others.
Would I be wasting my time and money if I went to see this one? Do they bring the audience up to speed at the beginning?
IMO it definitely helps if one has seen at least the first film, EVOLUTION and yes, even not beloved AWAKENING. there are major-ish plot points/characters in AWAKENING that are key plot points/characters in BLOOD WARS.

shareThey do recap the first 2 + 4th film at the beginning. It was kind of annoying, but it sounds like it'll work out for you.
I'd definitely watch the first ones just cause they're better movies imo.
Why would you even bother without seeing the rest? After skipping the middle ones, what is it about THIS one that makes you think you need to see it?
