I wonder why the film made no mention of his character in the film.

In Awakening, the antigen facility was under investigation. There wasn't a thing in Blood Wars to need him as a character.

Unless he got turned into an immortal, he must have died during the 400 years between Awakening and Blood Wars.

Selene should have turned him!
