Farewell guys :'(

I hate to admit this, but people who love to troll, insult, bash, swear are the ones that let this happen! I'm very sad to hear that it's shutting down, message board is my favorite section on IMDB.. :(

I feel that I'm losing a member of my family, without the message board, IMDB is nothing

Feeling very disappointed, even though I truly confess that the haters annoyed me the whole way through but all of the users, I mean everyone, indirectly taught me how to do better in sarcasm, jokes, antics, banter and I swear to God, you guys made my days cause I laugh so hard that once in a while, my stomach ache (a good thing).

I used to be weak at sarcasm when involving a debate with friends but since I have used this application for 2 years, it keeps getting better and better.

Hate to say this but goodbye users. Hope we can talk again after this.

Farewell, message board of IMDB. :')

I know what you mean. I've been using the message board for twelve years and I am disappointed that it's being shut down. I just hope that my account isn't deleted along with the lists that I have worked so hard on.

Yup, all these people managed to suck the blood out of the boards, just like vampires with a too huge lust for blood.
15 years ago when i joined, it was far from as bad as it its today with all these trolls, spammers and people who generally have not been taught etiquette by their parents.

Sad, but we will always have Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook to vent.

Why on earth do you have (had) 2 accounts? One account should be more than plenty.
Usually multiple account creation is only seen with trolls and spammers, one of the main reasons why we now are loosing the IMDb boards.

First of all, I'm not a troll, trust me.

It's just that I have this account which I like better than the other account. This account basically is for me to rate every movie, tv series and episodes of tv series but the other one only for movies so I feel more organised when I look at how many movies and tv series I have rated. Despite that, truth to be told, since months ago, I rarely used the other account.

And about that time when I first created this account, I felt like I needed a fresh start on IMDB, so I created another and this is it.

Same here bud! I will miss this and I guess there won't be any other place where movies can be discussed and analysed the way it's been done here :( Too bad cause I've been on this site for years, but only recently the number of trolls increased and got out of control! I won't have any reasons to come to IMDb after the boards are closed!
