There won't be another one
This will be the last Underworld movie.
shareA prediction? If not, source please?
shareSource? Are you a moron? Look at the box office.
shareThe question is are YOU a moron? Per Boxofficemojo Underworld BW has made 78 mil worldwide on a budget of 35 mil. The rule of thumb is generally you make money after doubling the productions budget. This is already in the black and it hasnt even gone to streaming or cable outlets yet. These are made with low budgets for long term profitability. Kate may not want to come back, but with a good pay day she always seems to find the desire.
"Call me if you ever feel to old to drive" - Me and You and Everyone We Know
This is the least successful movie of the entire series though. NOT losing your a$$ on it isn't something that should be celebrated as a victory. This reminds me of when Blair Witch came out a few months back and some tried to tout its performance as being something impressive. Yes, its domestic take did four times the budget, but it couldn't even out perform the previous film in the series from 15 years before, and it only did less than a fifth of the original's box office from 1999. When you're trying to revive or keep a series going, you're not trying to have an okay return on a modest budget, you're trying to hit the previous highs of the series, and this latest Underworld did not.
Child of the Eighties.
Man of the Nineties.
Man-Child of the Twenty-First Century.
Hopefully, a reboot instead of a TV series. I think budgetary concerns would make the show weak.

Outside of her though, what would you possibly sell it on? Is there anything else about the series that hasn't already become a trope of every other show or movie like this that's come out in the last 15 years?

The director and writers were working on a sixth and final instalment at the same time as this one. I suspect there may be one last movie.
