If Amelia is his mother, surely David is quite old no? since its impossible for 2 vampires to make a baby and Amelia was turned 1500 years ago thus also making Thomas quite old too.

 Life is a joke, but atleast its a good one.

Selene was pregnant with Michael's child, so vampires can procreate.

Incorrect. No idea where you got that from. As for Thomas, yes, he was pretty old, but younger than Amelia.
