Dinner scene
Y'know, it's weird that there's a scene where she hosts a meal, since feeding others is generally a maternal thing. Does anyone remember what foods she made?
shareAll we saw was some juice with a bit of green, sort of a sophisticated appetizer seen in lots of restaurants. I think she forgot to cook anything else.
She didn't give the dinner to be caring or feeding others, she was getting to know the woman who was with her ex, and not because she liked her. She probably wanted to see how she could undermine her in some way. Notice that Helene did get the toothpick in her little tidbit, probably because poison was not subtle enough.
