Blair didn't actually remember before it was too late. *SPOILERS!*

This topic is not about Blair being a sociopathic, two-timing monster hiding behind a sweet girl facade (this is something I agree with) but is instead about the ending. According to that website about "not answering calls from the dead," it states that in order to survive, the victim must confess their crimes. It seems to me that after seeing the ending, Blair actually forgot about being the one who filmed Laura (on a side note, she herself seemed a bit out of it/drunk after revealing herself to the camera) and just couldn't remember what she did in time in order to save her life. I think this is the case because as monstrous as Blair was to Laura and the others, she herself didn't seem to be the type to have others horribly die for the LOLs, especially when she knows that Laura is well aware of info that nobody else knows and seems genuinely scared by Laura killing her so-called "friends", thus it would be dumb of her to actually lie about something Laura already knows.

Also, if Blair really did remember herself filming Laura passed out drunk and soiled, she could've saved not only herself but the majority, if not the entirety, of the others when everything started going to Hell. Since Blair didn't confess to her crime even to save her own wretched skin after everybody was killed, it's a safe guess that Blair just forgot what she did and thus she and everybody else was doomed from the start. If that wasn't the case, then not only is Blair a sociopathic monster, but an extremely dumb one who can't even save her life. Either way, may she and Adam rest in Hell. The two of them were the worst of that group of "friends".

She typed "he did it"... after typing and deleting various response, she chose pegging her boyfriend for the crime so that she wouldn't die.
Soooo.... yeah, you're wrong.

"He did it" did not refer to Mitch filming the video. It instead referred to Mitch uploading the video after it was filmed by Blair. The two are separate events, not one and the same. She outed him for uploading the video but she most likely forgot about herself filming the video, thus why she wasn't to save herself before it was too late. Thus I'm not wrong.

Eh.... nope. I think Blair knew the whole time. She was obsessed with watching the videos... and with saving her own ass, on all accounts. The affair with Adam foreshadowed that Blair will pretend she's innocent when she is not. Hence.... you just totally looove Blair, and are semi wrong.

I do not love Blair! I think she's a wolf in sheep's clothing who deserved her fate at Laura's hands for what she had done. If some form of torturous afterlife exists in her universe, I hope she (and that POS rapist Adam for that matter) get sent straight to it and gets her just desserts preferably by undergoing all the pain that the others went through when they died plus the humiliation that Laura went through over and over and over and over and over and... well you get the picture. She maybe she deserves even worse than that, like undergoing the kind of punishments Vlad the Impaler a.k.a. Dracula in real life is fond of dishing out (look them up; what Vlad did to his victims is not pretty) but gets repeated for all eternity rather than just ending at the point of death. Heck, if Blair's story exists in the Hellraiser universe, the Warhamer 40K universe (albeit at a much earlier time period), or one of the three Doom universes (Classic Doom/Doom 64, Doom 3/Resurrection of Evil/Lost Mission, and DOOM 2016, again at a much earlier time period) rather than being in a separate universe on its own, I hope that she is in Hell being used as a plaything for Pinhead and his cenobites, the daemons of Chaos, or any of the three factions of demons from the Doom games depending on which version of Hell she is in. That's how much I hate her.

However, what this whole topic is about is whether Blair was in fact capable of saving her wretched skin or not and I don't think she was. Considering that the scumbag was not able to recognize her sin that she needed to confess after all of her so-called "friends" were killed and she was all alone thus there's nobody to hide her sin from except for the ghost who already knows what she did (and Blair knows that Laura knew Blair did something to her, hence Blair hiding it after all of that would be lethally stupid on her part) and she even knew how to survive due to being redirected to that "don't answer messages from the dead" website multiple times. I think it's safe to say that Blair forgot that she actually filmed the video within one year after the event, other wise she's way dumber than she looks asides from not being savvy with computers. Regardless of my hatred for her, I think she was doomed from the start and thus was incapable of saving herself from a horrific fate that she rightly deserves.

LOL. I love your reply. Well written.
I understand your points, however, look at it this way: This group of friends uploaded the video, and engaged the continued harassment of Laura. Now, whether or not we think Blair seemed intoxicated in the clip,(she may have just been giddy with evilness) she had to pass the video off to her friends to upload it. This video would obviously be a topic talked about quite often amongst the group... so there is no way in HELL that, even assuming she was too drunk to remeber filming it, one of the group members wouldn't have reminded her of such the next day.

Have you ever done something and then forgot that you did it after a while, like let's say a year or longer, until you're reminded by someone else that you in fact did it? I think that is exactly what happened to Blair at the end because otherwise she would've remembered in time and saved her skin. She may be a loathsome monster hiding behind a "nice girl" facade but she's not suicidal nor is she seemingly too dumb to save herself just to hide a grievance Laura already knows she did, thus hiding that is pointless in the first place. As for anybody within the group not reminding her during this movie, they were most likely too stressed out to do so plus there is the fact that Blair did not actually direct any of them to the "don't accept calls from the dead" website, which is indeed a stupid move on Blair's part (it should also be stated that Laura did not bring the website up to the group either, so make of that what you will) but it's not as stupid as deliberately hiding her sin just to save face when it is in fact the key to her salvation. Nobody but someone intentionally suicidal (which Blair clearly wasn't) or a fool would do that.

Oh and btw, it was just Mitch who uploaded the video that Blair filmed, not the group of friends. All that the group as a whole did was just participate in the bullying after the video was uploaded. However, it was never stated who edited the video into "Leaky Laura" though before Mitch uploaded it, so I'll give you that. The only one that most likely that video other than Mitch would be Ken though. That dude is the most computer savvy of the group, thus out of all the members of the group either he or Mitch did the editing, but it was definitely Mitch who uploaded it afterwards thus creating Leaky Laura.

I thought the virgin boyfriend recorded it and she was an accomplice. If she recorded it, how could she forget when it went viral?

Please excuse my terrible redaction, english is not my native language

reply

What went viral was the edited video, the one that ends with "Leaky Laura" written on the screen. The one that didn't went viral was the one that revealed Blair as the one recording it, which she reasonably forgot after a year until Laura reminded her before killing her.

I don't think so. Blaire was a compulsive liar. It is shown throughout the entire movie from simple white lies like "I was sending an email guys." all the way to trying to get out of her cheating even when caught red-handed saying "It was an accident", "We were drunk!" and the ever classic, "It didn't mean anything."

When we see that Blaire is the one who took the video in the first place and the camera pans over to her saying, "I got her" she is clearly not intoxicated to the point that she would forget the event. The only way I would believe that she couldn't recall the event is if she had some kind of disorder like schizophrenia. But the movie never hints towards anything like this. Only that Blaire is an unethical monster.

Blaire was such a compulsive liar that even when it came down to lie and die, or confess and be saved, she still lied!
