shareHollywood accounting/financing can be complicated terrain, but the basic belief seems to be: it is a favor. A way of saying, "Thank you for Unbroken (163 million worldwide). We hope to be in business with you and Brad in the future, too. So here is 10m to go and play Antonioni."
