If that amount is right then yeah, either free or for pennies.

I'm sure they'll get a ton of the profits though which in the end might end up to be more than a salary if it does well.

Probably did it for money on the back end but I don't think there will be much of that.

I'm sure she and he don't care how well it does just how well it's received, a) they have more than enough money b) it's written and directed by jolie so I doesn't make much sense for her or him to be like yeah I want x much for my acting even though the whole thing is my conception

IMHO They can do things just for the love of doing them -at this period of their lives.

I mean when you have so much $$ what it more for. more stuff? Granted their family's overhead is more hen most but I think they have it covered for a while.

So doing something for the love of it is to be commended in my book.

At least that what it looks like from the outside looking in.

What would you do if you took the money out of the equation?

If you write something its already a very personal thing for you.

They did it for scale,and I suspect that Universal also got a commitment from them for future, more commericial projects as part of the deal for greenlighting this.

Universal didn't produce. AJP and BP produced through their respective production houses I tbt they had to pay themselves. Brad has been quoted as saying he had to pay his own way for TAOJJ and I can't imagine he got anything for "Killing Them Softly".

Universal loves AJ if for no other reason than "Unbroken" grossed over $200 million dollars.

He is not just the love of my life, he is my family ... I hold that very dear.

If you can blatantly lie about such obvious and easily verifiable facts then your fiction Universal loving Angie is a downright lie and a loon fantasy.

I'll tell you the truth for starters Unbroken did make over $200 million dollars.

Considering it's Jolie's project, and the other star is her husband, they probably really did do it for free, with bonuses depending on how much it makes at the box-office.

The film was written/directed by Angelina Jolie - produced by Jolie and Pitt.. The film is only being distributed by Universal Pictures... So I'm guessing this was about the story and not about a big payday..

Low budget, probable percentage deals for the stars. Jolie also owes Universal a starring role.
