Who's afraid of Angelina Woolf?
I kinda wonder if this is a collaboration on the part of Pitt and Jolie to attempt to remake the acclaimed movie starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton in their own image.

Well Angelina is supposed to be making a Cleopatra movie, maybe Brad will star as the male lead
shareI saw the trailer and thought it's like being trapped with a married couple who can't stand each other. All you want to do is get heck out of there. There are plenty of people who are stuck in destructive relationships in real life, I don't need to see it on the screen...I can't help thinking are we watching art imitating life?
shareYup.. this is entertainment? 😰ðŸ˜

After i saw the pictures on this page of the red carpet photo shoot and reading the movies' premise, i immediately thought that Brad and Angelina were describing or predicting their divorce to the people in this way.
Maybe they stay together for years though, but the pics werent very good, she looked rather horrible and he didnt look too happy either, but it could have just been that particular event.
Maybe they're tired. Or maybe they read some of the reviews.
shareBy the Sea seems much like a remake of the Taylor/Burton vanity production Boom(1968) in which Taylor lived in a beautiful villa by the sea.
shareExactly and that is its downfall. The punchline is straight out of Who's afraid of Angelina Woolf, which then makes everything else about it seem familiar. The married actors, the younger couple, etc etc.
