In Defense of "By the Sea".

I actually liked this film though it certainly has its flaws.

When its revealed in the end why Angelina's character is so unhappy, it all made sense as many couples struggle with infertility and it does put a strain on the marriage....esp the woman herself as many of us are made to feel not woman enough if we can't bare children. I wish the reveal had come sooner in the movie, I would have felt sorry for her character vs finding her insufferable.

Angelina has said in interviews that she has immense sympathy for women who struggle with fertility issues. I think its one of the reasons she put this in the film as the depression can be intense it can wreak havoc on a relationship as any deep depression does.

Anyway, not the best film in the world but I liked it and dont' think it should have gotten the hate that it did.
