Not as bad as they said
I watched most of this last night on HBO, and while Jolie didn't really have the artistic depth anymore to express the sorrow of her character and her tragedy - too many years of frozen expressions on tabloids, I guess- it had its quiet moments of power, when a couple just isn't connecting anymore. Plus there were fun little grace-notes, like when they're sitting next to their peep-hole and Pitt grins at the wine bottle making the giveaway glug-glug sounds as they get ready to spy on the next-door couple.
The kind of movie you appreciate when you're just quietly taking stock your life, sitting back and reflecting on everything.
